Technology and Engineering Education
The Technology and Engineering Education Department provides students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for success in college, careers, and an increasingly technology driven world. Through courses in engineering, architecture, manufacturing, robotics, automotive technology, woodworking, computer aided design, and emerging technologies, students develop technical knowledge while strengthening creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
Students work with industry standard equipment, software, and manufacturing technologies while applying engineering design principles to authentic, real world projects. Those enrolled in the Architecture and Engineering pathway have the opportunity to earn industry valued Autodesk certifications, while students in the Automotive Technology program work toward earning Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications that demonstrate career readiness and technical proficiency.
Our experienced instructors bring valuable industry knowledge into the classroom, helping students connect academic concepts with practical applications. Whether students plan to pursue a four year university, community college, technical training, apprenticeship, military service, or direct entry into the workforce, the Technology and Engineering Education Department provides the foundation needed to succeed in a wide range of high demand careers. Through innovation, exploration, and experiential learning, students gain the confidence and skills to become adaptable leaders and lifelong learners.
